Im so nervous form my SAT test scores, that come out tomorrow. i hope i did well for my first time. im hoping i get some where in the neighborhood of 1600. i did not study because i was told not to, and when i sign up for my next test i will know what to study and what to except.
My college counselor called me in to her office to day, to talk about this summer opportunity thing. She was getting me freaked out she was saying how this summer i should work my hardest if i want to get into a good college. i have to distinguish myself, take my SAT scores, and apply to my colleges. Everything is going by so fast i cant believe how fast 2009 went by and now its already February 2010. next thing i know im going to b 45 years old complaining about how my back hurts and how kids do not appreciate there elders.
I have to get out of the damn place.Once im in college (where ever that may be)i plan to be myself. Im hoping i dont just make friends with girls. But what straight guy would want to be Friends with an out gay dude? i have never met a girl who plays uncharted or watches the geeking shows that i watch. Im going to b soooo alone in college its going to suck balls!
R u guys disappointed with Obama as president? because i kinda am but i dont know if its just me or if hes just not that great of a president yet.
Hey, as a 45 year old, I can say that we don't all complain about our backs and kids!
ReplyDeleteThere is much more diversity in college than in your high school, Arodomon. You can be yourself and find others that you have much in common with. The gay/straight thing may not be as big of a deal as you think.

Obama is disappointing so far but trying to make changes, finally. Why do Democrats waste their first year on health care? But finally some movement on Don't Ask, Don't Tell. How he responds to Massachusetts challenge to the Defense of Marriage Act, and if he works on the Employment Non-discrimination Act are the big tests for me.
You will get into the college you want, and the crazy thing about college is all of the random and amazing people you will meet. Some you will become friends with, other you will cross paths a lot. It will all be good, don't worry about it too much.

College will not suck balls! At first you will just kinda mill around with the people in your dorm floor, but soon you will find a group that you fit into. I think any straight guy would be your friend in college. Life in college is so much different than in high school you just will not believe it until you get there. Because there are so many people, and everyone there is away from home for the first time and they are shedding their high school personas also.
ReplyDeleteAs for Obama? I do think he has wasted his time in office so far. And i dont really understand his fascination with Sarah Palin, like just let it go guy.... I never honestly believed his promises to the LGBT community, and it seems that I am unfortunately correct, sigh......
